It creates significant improvement in pore size, skin tone, and texture. It has been the favorite non-invasive treatment option of many– both physicians and patients alike– to delay skin aging and eliminate the need for future invasive cosmetic surgeries. GentleYAG™ may also be used to treat striae (stretch marks), acne scars, and improve surgical and traumatic scars. Due to the deep penetration of GentleYAG™ into the skin, it is also effectively used for tightening other areas of the body.

How often do I need to do the treatment?

On the average, a series of three to six consecutive sessions one month apart deliver optimal results. Results are cumulative. Although one may notice improvement after one session, a series of three monthly sessions would be good to start with, to see more significant to marked results. Depending on what has been achieved, an evaluation by our physician may be done, if more sessions are needed. You may already notice improvement in two to four weeks after a treatment, but maximum results still continue to be achieved even up to four to six months after your series of treatments. Touch-up sessions may be done in the future.

How does GentleYAG™ work for skin refining?

The laser flashes beams of 1064nm laser light, which penetrate the skin to the dermis. This initiates a complex wound- healing response that stimulates the rebuilding and remodelling of collagen in the skin. Wrinkles and skin laxity are improved from the inside.[/fusion_text][/one_full]

GentleLase Vein Reduction (GYAG VR)

Millions of people suffer from unsightly leg veins– from the small spider veins to the larger reticular veins and the painful, bulging varicose veins. The GentleYAG™ laser eliminates all unwanted leg veins non-invasively, without injections or surgery, giving you smooth, vein-free legs.

While most leg veins treated with GentleYAG™ clear immediately, some larger vessels may take on a gray color before naturally fading away. Vessels treated at the prior visit will be mostly or thoroughly gone by the next session. However, some vessels need additional treatment or might need to be treated in combination with sclerotherapy.

How does GentleYAG™ work for leg vein reduction?

The GentleYAG™ laser specifically targets the chromophore/pigment within blood vessel (oxygenated and deoxygenated hemoglobin) with specific wavelengths of light. The light and heat from the laser light closes off the vessels by coagulating the target pigments in the blood within the vessels.

How often do I need to do the treatment?

Usually, a series of two to four treatments are required at four- to six-week intervals for maximum clearance. Treatments are easy and comfortable and no specific preparation is required.

What should I expect after the procedure?

Immediately after procedure, the areas treated will look pink and generally follow the pattern of the vessels removed. This will fade in one to two days as your body takes over to complete the process. You may return to work or other activities such as walking and exercising immediately, with the aid of a support hose right after the procedure. But generally, one to two days of rest are required before resuming your normal activities.[/fusion_text][/one_full]
